Pain

Yes pain, it's awful, it's depressing when you skin hurts and you can't stand to be touched. What do you do about something like that? Well after the depression, crying and hating to be alive, hoping your loved one is understanding, hoping loved one won't get fed up and find a woman who doesn't say ouch when they touch you. Yeah I know all about that, your so not alone it happens, it's the desease and if they truly love you and understand it's the desease nothing personal then your ok.

It's important, very important that your significant other understands the disease you have and they understand it is a desease. How do you get em to understand? send them info via their email account, talk about it, tell them what you've been reading about the dreaded psoriasis. If they love you they will understand, they will take it upon themselves if they really give a damn to read up on psoriasis. Yes, yes I know, it's hard trying to explain it to them when your skin feels like it's on fire. How can you explain something like that? totally a feeling that's difficult to explain, but show them the red plaques then possibly they'll be able to imagine it, especially if they touch the area and feels how warm it is.

Psoratic Arthritis, oh wow, pain, pain, pain, fingers don't work right because psoriasis is wrapped around joints of toes, fingers, elbows, soooooo, soooooo painful. It's just damn hard having severe psoriasis along with the psoratic arthritis, put it all together you have a life of hell. Pain of walking with psoriasis on bottom of your feet, around joints of allyour toes, psoriasis so thick in these areas not to mention heals of your feet so bad walking is affected so bad all you can do is crawl then have someone take you to ER to sit for hour or two until you can be seen. Not to mention having to walk on tippy toes, painful but only way can walk decently, right decently, lol. that is funny. Along with those feet issues we can't forget to add that feet are swollen.

All of this is hard to deal with, get through, not to mention having to hope your immediate family understands that you can't do the simplest of things, the things you without psoriasis has taken for granted for years. Meaning no you can't do the cooking for several day's, but you feel guilty because it falls on them, no laundry isn't done and as soon as your physically capable.

Your not alone, a lot of us are going through this or has gone through it. It's hard, damn hard when you have severe arthritis. It's really hard when you've been laid off, unemployment runs out, what's a person to do? Try to continue living life as normally as possible, what ever that may be since severe psoriasis broke into your life and making it clear it's hear to stay.

What have I done to stop some of the pain?
Scrubbed, searched, devoured all information I found on the internet, asked my beautician, go to forums and ask questions.

What I did: (read the internet about psoriasis).
1. Clorox Bleach in bath water (WHAT?) yeah I know. Lol, but a table spoon in bath water, luke warm bath water helps. HOW? it takes away the bacteria.
2. Apple cider vineger WHAT?, again yes, it works this also kills the bacteria attacking you with psoriasis.
3. A tablespoon of apple cider vineger every morning. You can dilute it if you like but i just suck it up and swallow, tart, tart, tart.
4. Bathe every other day because it helps remove scales.
1, Couple caps of apple cider vineger
   2. Couple caps of bleach.
   3. Tablespoon of olive oil and if must fry food use olive oil, use it in dressings you make. Can use on skin as well to keep skin soft and moist. Don't over do it or you'll have a mess.
   4. Sea Salt, Dead sea salt in bath. (I count to 10 or 20 as i pour then stop somewhere in between there.
   5. African Black soat (Costal SCents.Com) it truly works.
   6. Essential oils, Tea Tree, Pactchule, chamomile, rose, jojoba oil, rose, junaper, grapeseed, Black African honey, or refined shea buttle oil.

Yes, I manage to get this all in the tub of luke warm water, you don't want it to be to hot it will irritate your skin. You have to remember your skin is more sensitive now.

I'll stop right now but I highly suggest to do searches on the web and read, read, read. Check out doctor OZ on psoriasis. He mentions saran wrap, lol, i know it sound's strange but I have to use it on feet in order to walk due to psoriasis all over feet, ankles, etc.

One last thing regarding pain of skin cracks in folds of skin which are very painful. Neosporin works in a day or so, it can be the generic version it works.

Severe Psoriasis and affording the health care needed.... ROFLMAO

The natural way, hmmm, I've purchased essential oils, unrefined shea butter and african black soap. Not the kind of items you find in your local beauty supply store. I got lucky a friend helped me out and found the place to buy items needed. How did I know what would be needed? Well the net of course. Unfortunately I'm one of the many who've been laid off and COBRA, lmao, COBRA insurance you can pay for after being laid off, OMG....I'd like to say you wouldn't believe the cost. It would be silly to assume none of you or over half of you know nothing about COBRA. Looking at the word makes me laugh, yes it's a hell of a sting the cost to continue health care if not working. Well I tried to afford it and did for 3 months, for 3 months paying 200.00 a month. Uh those getting unemployment knows what that does to a family budget use to both people working. But, yes BUT, got a letter saying that the cost of my cobra insurance will be going down "YES" cool I'll be able to continue medications needed from doctor, go see doctor another couple of months, yes." Well mail came, got the statement for payment and looked at how much less I'd have to pay....."takes a deep breath" you could of knocked me down with a feather. My new payment now was 199.00 dollars.  Ok yeah, you had to re read that didn't you. I was like omfg what the hell.

See having severe psoriasis means it's damn near everywhere on your body from head to toe and areas that would surprise the hell out of you because it surprised me. It helps to get pills from doctor to assist in the fighting of psoriasis. So you suffer, that's right, you call and cancel your insurance, pay up your doctor bill, inform them you won't be using their services any longer and why.  Ya think to your self thank goodness you were still working when you were using Embrel. That's right Embrel, the shot you gave yourself and because you have health insurance and your doctor helped you apply for it in order to only pay a very small amount for something you know can kill you. Why bother with the in between things that can happen to you when using this medication. Since death is a major side affect we'll just use that.

So talking to friends that use natural ingredients, researching on the web what natural remedies you can try to help fight this dreadful disease I wouldn't wish on a enemy. Wait, thinks a minute, Okay maybe i'd wish it on a enemy but only if what they did was so, so, damn terrible that makes them my enemy would I wish it on them.

Psoriasis is a bitch and those who've had it for several, several years I salute you because it's driving me damn crazy.
